New “Tech Help” Button in Library Classrooms

Room 024 on the lower level of Belk Library and Information CommonsThe podiums in all of Belk Library’s classrooms have been outfitted with a new “Tech Help” button. Pressing that button will open an intercom link by which instructors will be able to talk directly to one of our tech support personnel.

Rooms 024, 026, 028, 114, and 471 have the new button on the podiums. Room 421 also has the Tech Help button, but it is located in the alcove where the sound equipment lives.

We anticipate that this should cut down significantly on our response times for technical assistance in these rooms. For more information about this new service, contact Scott Rice, Coordinator of Technology Services.
